Ideogram V3 Edit modifies part of an image. You supply the image, a mask over the area to change and a prompt describing what should fill it. The model returns an edited image.
A prompt, an image and a mask image are required. The image and the mask must have exactly the same width and height. Style Preset, Rendering Speed (Turbo, Balanced or Quality), Color Palette, Style Codes and Expand Prompt are optional. Style Preset has named looks such as 80s Illustration, Art Deco, Art Poster, Aura and Bauhaus. Color Palette sets the colors, as a preset name or as color codes. Style Codes are 8-character codes that stand for a look. Expand Prompt switches MagicPrompt on or off. You can also add style reference images, which can be JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10MB in total.
Ideogram V3 Edit costs 300 credits per run. Ideogram V3 Character Edit costs 1000 credits and also needs a character reference image. Ideogram V2 Turbo Edit Text to Image costs 500 credits and has a Style option instead of Style Preset. Ideogram V2 Edit Text to Image costs 800 credits.
Same job: change part of a picture. Compare before you choose.
